Impactful Approaches to Content Promotion

That is why at Starting Small Media, we advocate for prospective entrepreneurs, like you, to know that it all starts with taking your small step. What is Content Promotion?

Content promotion is the crucial step of content Marketing where you distribute media via paid companies. The purpose of content promotion is to drive web traffic, gain new audiences and improve your search rates. However, for Startups, you have to take a step back, and promote your content first in order to receive content promotion. This may sound odd, but you have to remember that in order to get paid promotions (in other words, you are paid to promote content), you have to build your traction and audience first.

Promoting Through Social Media

Social media is another crucial part of this process, since it’s more on the accessible side. Majority of your audience may use social media all the time, so using this tool will further help you to increase your brand awareness as well. Social media platforms include Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, or Instagram. You may not see this when you are first using these platforms, but once you do for a while, you will then see how much of your audience is engaging with a social platform. You can see your analytics of who is using which platform the most.

Promoting Through Email Marketing

Email Marketing is the most powerful tool for content promotion. It allows you to have a personal connection with your audience. For example, you may create an email newsletter for your audience to subscribe to. It first gets sent out through email, so your audience will immediately go to their email, and click the post. Your audience may be on their email almost all day, so this is a superior tactic to get traction. Other email marketing tools may include your blog posts as well. Any informative factor is great for this hack.

Content Optimization From Search Engine Optimization

Content Optimization is a tool that helps improve the relevance of your content. This means that the more traction, the higher rank your business will be search wise. To use this effectively, you may use more effective keywords, tags, images, links, etc. Doing research can also boost your search rate as well.

Using Influencer Marketing

Once you gain enough traction and audience, you can then move up to Influencer Marketing. Influencer Marketing is a strategy that involves the act of collaborating with influential people, specifically in your industry. This tactic will most likely gain more audience because when you collaborate with an influencer, some of your audience may already know that person. HEnce, collaborating with that influencer will bring attention to them, and then they would want to subscribe to your business.

As a prospective entrepreneur, it may be overwhelming to collect all of the information as you are first starting out. But remember, taking the first small step is key to snowball into the big mission. That is why at Starting Small Media, we advocate in hosting events that strives the goal of inspiring other entrepreneurs. We host from remote interviews, to our Starting Small Summit
